For our summer concerts in August, we present several brilliant compositions featuring ensembles of unusual instrumentation, such as Ton ter Doest’s Circusmuziek and Villa-Lobos’ Quinteto (em forma de Choros). Our audiences should also expect to hear Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire, Purcell’s Chacony in G, and Britten’s String Quartet No. 2. We are also incredibly excited to present a completely new program called the Composer Concert, which will feature new and returning Twickenham Fest guest artists as they perform their own chamber music compositions.
